When you
enter a contest, you never know if you're going to win -
that's what Joseph Pannia thought when he submitted his wine for
competition. The 2011 Gold Medal Winner, Joseph Pannia of
Hackettstown NJ earned recognition for his International Pinot
Noir in a 2011WineMaker®
International Amateur Wine Competition. Being a Scientist
with Johnson and Johnson, Joe is familiar with process control,
chemistry, science, and has a love for cooking, which he could apply to his wine making. It also didn't
hurt that Joe's father crafted wine in Italy. His Father's
talent must have rubbed off on him. But, Joe admits,
he had a little help from Winexpert - "with Winexpert wine
kits, anyone can make great wine right at home and it's very
easy to do." No wonder that their motto is "Great Wine
is yours for the Making!"
